mourner Fierce vocals combined with an atmosphere as cold as ice. But there are wonderfully catchy guitar melodies as well. Ancient Obscurity made a great step up with this release and improved their songwriting quite impressively. They kept the high energy and speed from previous releases, even increased both but managed to make the songs more distinct at the same time. The additional female vocals add a lot to this release. Favorite track: Nimettömät Maat.

H.L. This is extremely wild and intensive black metal with sharp, cutting guitars. Some riffs remind me at Windir or Burzum, the extreme screams remind me at hardcore punk. But suddenly it becomes magic and majestic in the middle of "Nimettömät Maat", what a great moment! Looking forward to new releases which continue that way! Favorite track: Nimettömät Maat.

chadbhsmith Finland, again, seems incapable of doing wrong. Holy fuck. This is great. Good golly, I even love the art. Tour the US, please.

connebert Leaps out of the starting gate at full speed and never looks back. Audaciously melodic riffs delivered at breakneck speed, with some truly exquisite melodic highpoints - cf. e.g. the chanted harmonies in track 6. If you like fast and tuneful black metal, definitely worth a listen. Favorite track: Viimeiset Valheesi.
